Moving on.
Alright, so it's time to step things up a bit, I've been half assing this so far, and unfortunately that's not actually helping my ass get to half it's size, my fitness level improve, or get me the best nutrition.
So, a couple of friends of mine think its a great idea for me to do a boot camp. I think I'd like that type of thing, and would love to do one - however, this particular one starts at 5:30am, three days a week, and I'm already struggling to get in enough sleep. The mere thought of getting little sleep, then getting up at 4:45am to go to boot camp, and then working until 11:30 pm, makes me want to curl up and sleep. Actually doing it would probably result in my suicide.
BUT, as we know, my efforts exercise wise have been abysmal lately. Clearly, I need more motivation to exercise than this blog or wanting to be healthy.
So this is my promise.
I will exercise 5 days a week. Any days, as long is it equals five out of 7, and the week will be the same as my Weigh In weeks to keep this simple.
The first week that I do not exercise 5 days out of 7, and am not seriously injured, actually sick (not just a hangover or allergies or tired), or some other true PROPER thing happens (like, god forbid, having to take my kid to the emergency room or something) to prevent me from exercising, I will go ahead and do boot camp and commit to the torture of a life without sleep.

ReplyDelete5:30 AM bootcamp? You mean, you have to BE there at 5:30? What the hell?? That's ridiculous! Threatening yourself with that kind of torture should be a great motivator, though.
ReplyDeleteI am going to try the bananas and Greek yogurt thing--that looks good. :)
Anon - Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteTB - lol! Seriously that's what I figure - everytime I want to skip or sleep in a little more, hopefully I'll be like "D.. it's 6am.. if you don't get up now, you'll have to start getting up at 4:45.. move your ass woman." ;)
And yeah, that yogurt banana thing is so yummy! I use the oikos caramel greek yogurt. :)
I tried the oikos vanilla and honey flavors, they were ok, but the chobani greek yogurt is the best stuff in the world! Pineapple is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteEmmey - I tried the oikos chocolate and it was foul.. I think I still have some growing mold (does yogurt grow mold..?) in my fridge. And meanwhile, thats like the third time this week someone has mentioned the chobani to me - I have to try it! thanks for the recommendation. :)
